Minxcon has an opening for a Mining Engineer.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:-
• Execute mine planning, design, scheduling, and optimisation
• Conduct mining studies (MWP, LOM, DD, Scoping, PFS, BFS)
• Perform pit/stope optimisation and equipment selection
• Build and maintain mine cost models to support financial evaluations
• Conduct trade-off studies and evaluate development options.
• Lead and manage multiple technical projects
• Prepare technical reports and Competent Person’s Reports (CPRs)
• Stay current with industry developments and maintain continuous professional development
Desired Experience & Qualification
• B.Eng. Mining
• Post-graduation experience will be valuable
• Practical mining, design and modelling experience will be valuable
• High quality professional report writing;
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Willingness to travel for brief periods of time capable on site;
• Strong relationship and team development abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint/Visio).
The successful candidate should be available to commence employment on 1 August 2025.
